Life happens to elevate you into the embodiment of enlightened living.

TOP TIP: THE EVIDENCE IS IN THE EMOTIONS

As a general rule, the emotion(s) you are feeling in relation to the past event(s) offer big clues as to what you are resisting and what you are attached to. you feel sad for different reasons to feeling angry or hurt or scared. So to clarify the conflict, begin by considering how it makes you feel. For example, guilt usually stems from a resistance to something you didn’t do and an attachment to something you believe you ‘should’ have done differently. Anger and hurt are frequently due to a resistance to something that should not have happened to you and an attachment to something else that ‘should’ have happened instead. Whereas fear is often a survival-based resistance and an attachment to feeling more secure through certain criteria that were not met. Grief is a resistance to loss and an attachment to keeping what you believe you need to maintain the safer status quo. Although these are general examples, the principle remains true: To clarity your conflict, explore the emotions and track back to uncover the elements of the event you are resisting and attached to.
